If the Buddha were a woman
The hair that could be kept
On his scalp
He would rather slightly
Bring them down
The shoulder
And keep them round
In a bun
If the Buddha were a woman
He would rather not show
His broad chest
But cover it with
A piece of cloth
Blushingly
If the Buddha were a woman
He would rather get up
From his meditation
Again and again
Go to a secret place,
Sit on his buttocks
And urinate
Over and above
If the Buddha were a woman
He would often
Rush into the kitchen
Distressfully
And stir the spoon
In the pot of rice
To ensure
‘If the rice is boiled’
